The Advantage of Video Piano Lessons
Basically we have three options in piano lessons: live instruction, audio instruction, and video piano lessons. Of the three, I place live instruction first, video instruction second, and audio lessons dead last. I can’t imagine trying to understand how to place my fingers, find the right keys, or learn correct posture through audio instruction. A far better choice would be video piano lessons. In a video lesson you get to watch the instructor do what he is telling you to do audibly. It’s like the difference between having audio instructions for changing your sparkplugs versus having a mechanic show you how. But, do be careful in your purchase of video piano lessons. Some are very good, but some are very unprofessional. Read the reviews before buying.
