Buy an Australian Koala Gold Coin as an Aussie Souvenir
On a recent holiday to Perth I stopped by the Perth Mint. The building itself was surrounded by strong steel fencing that was clearly designed to ward off intruders. Once inside the building I was taken by the buildings old colonial style. With root origins from around the turn of the century this mint has a great deal of history behind it. Once inside the coin shop I bought a souvenir. The Australian koala gold coin is part of a regular coin series released by the mint. I thought it would be a nice reminded of my trip to Perth.
