Navarre Weddings Are For Lovers

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Weddings hold with them all of the mixes of love, sentiment, creativity, reunion of family and friends and so much more. When trying to locate a wedding location in Florida, Navarre is a true opportunity to allow for unification of all of the mixes of a wedding. The white beach sand makes for a beautiful carpet by nature. Beautiful sounds of the ebb and flow of the ocean tides add a lovely backdrop of sound. Simple, yet beautiful decorations have been used at beach weddings and ideas abound. Navarre weddings are for lovers and many beautiful memories are just waiting to be made.

Video Show On Cowponies

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

We’re still out in Montana, enjoying the fresh air and meeting all sorts of interesting people. This week, we’ve been hanging around a bunch of folks that train cutting horses. These are the horses that ride into the middle of a herd, pick one particular animal, and carefully move it out of the herd. It’s not a skill that is used much in real cattle work these days, but it’s still an amazing thing to watch. The horse and rider both have to have some incredible talent and training. The skill level required is almost beyond belief.

We’re working on a video show of the entire process. Hope to have that up on the Net in a few days.

I Got to Design My Own Tattoo!

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

I went into a tattoo shop last Saturday and wanted to get a tattoo. The artist had a book filled with pictures and samples of tats he’d made in the past. None of them really spoke to me, so he suggested that I design my own tattoo. It took me a while, but I ended up choosing a pretty flower with beautiful colors. I put it on my lower back and completely love to show it off. I really love that I got to design my own tattoo and that I was brave enough to finally get it done! I think the entire experience made me think more about art in relevance to my body and I would love to have another one done in the near future.

Is Bodhran Still Alive?

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Earlier this month, my beloved mother and I won free two tickets to go Ireland. What’s more exciting is that it is all expense paid! Yes, we have joined a contest and we won! :) When we got to Ireland, the very first thing that I looked forward to was their bodhran. I made researches to it and I have found very nice interesting facts about it. When we got there, there are still places that play the bodhran music and luckily, out of the pocket money we that were given, I bought myself a bodhran! Now, I am looking for an instructor to teach me how to play it.
