I Was So Impressed
Wednesday, March 24th, 2010I struck up a conversation with a woman at the beach the other day and was absolutely blown away about her story. She said that she had waited for a long time to become pregnant and partway through her pregnancy, she found out she had cancer. She declined treatment until her baby was born and then began. Here she was, in her mastectomy swimwear, enjoying the sunshine with her baby girl, just a day after chemotherapy. She said that she had made the decision to live every single day to the fullest that she could. I said a pray right there that she would make it through to remission.
