Searching For Outdoor Bars NYC

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I really love New York City especially at night.  The flashing lights from the towering and elegant buildings in the city are always a sight to behold.  And it is not uncommon to see outdoor bars NYC style.

Last summer, some friends went home with me to New York.  My fiends could only stay for about a week so we made the most out of it.  We went to a number of outdoor bars nyc boasts of.  Of these outdoor bars, my friends loved 230 Fifth best.  The place has a partially heated rooftop garden that is just perfect to dispel the night chill.

The place is big and always bursting with people enjoying a night out.  We were able to meet a lot of people there.  It was so much fun!

Happy 50th to My Loving Wife

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

My wife was always talking about Australia. It was one of those places she was wanting to visit in her lifetime. Her 50th birthday was coming up and I really wanted to do something big for her. I planned everything. A big party that her family and friends would be at. I talked to her job and got time off scheduled. I ordered our tickets and set up accommodation in perth. When the day came, she just lit up. I don’t think I ever saw her face sans smile. It was the same way once we got to Perth. She was the happiest I’d ever seen her.

In Times of Need

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

On occasion I lose my wallet, or my luggage gets misplaced.  Well with all the travelling I do, I need some sort assurance that my valuables will have some sort of protection just in case something goes awry.  In times of need it is important to prepare yourself with Travel Insurance.  Having insurance will help offset the costs of losing luggage and or wallets.  When planning that next trip, take the time to find the right insurance that will fit your needs for you and your family.  Don’t be stuck in the middle of nowhere without any money when your insurance plan can reimburse your losses.

Planning My Trip to Sydney

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

I am in the process of planning my upcoming trip to Sydney. I am having such fun looking into all the things that I can do while I am there. I am trying to get a good idea of where I want to go and what I want to do so I can pick a hotel that will be convenient. Right now I am leaning toward one of the Darling Harbour hotels since I know I want to spend some time there while I am on the trip, but if a lot of the things I want to do are not located near there I might change my mind.

College Students Need Bikes

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

We recently had two foreign exchange students come to live with us here in Indiana. It became really obvious very quickly that they were going to need a lot more transportation than just back and forth to the university every day. The boys each decided to buy an electric motorbike to get around town. That seems to be a great solution for them. Now they can come and go as they please without waiting for us. They don’t especially like to ask because they are afraid of imposing. The motorbikes get them to classes and back, the movies, and shopping for snacks in the middle of the night. This has been a great solution for all of us.

Finding a Convenient Place to Stay

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

I am not really familiar with the city of Sydney, but I am trying to find a convenient place to stay that will be close to a lot of the locations where I would like to go. Someone suggested that I check out the Darling Harbour hotels, so I am looking into them to see which ones might fit into my budget and be near at least some of the places that I want to go. Of course this will be easier once I decide which attractions I want to visit the most. I really need to get planning soon.

very cozy and romantic city

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

Barcelona is a very cozy and romantic city like San Pedro de Alcantara and is located in northeastern Spain on the Mediterranean Sea. Barcelona, after Madrid, the second most important city in Spain in terms of size and population. It is a beautiful city where art and culture in high esteem. It has an incredible number of attractions, including Leading architects of Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech I Montaner. Not for nothing are there in Barcelona nine buildings protected by UNESCO.The main attraction is probably called the Sagrada Familia. This fantastic building of Gaudi is really indescribable. Many tourists are breathless minutes to admire the building. Other attractions include the Cathedral of Barcelona, Gaudi’s work and Palau Guell Parc Guell, the Pablo Picasso Museum and of course Camp Nou, home of FC Barcelona. After seeing all this beauty, you can enjoy wandering around on the boulevard La Rambla, or a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. The nightlife in Barcelona is vibrant. The discos in the wee hours to go through. So we can say that certainly after the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games has become a thriving metropolis. The city lends itself ideal for a city tour and a short weekend away, or as a great stopover in Spain Tour.
