Is spy gear the new big brother?
I have recently noticed something interesting about spy gear and peopletalks about big brother… I notice people talking about how they’re scaredof big brother. Of this idea that the government may soon monitor more and moreof their movements and actions.
Yet the biggest threat to privacy is ourselves. Or should i say our use of all kinds of spy gear and gadgets. Case in point, our use of cell phones withbuilt-in cameras.
Something else: even our use of facebook. We provide such a large quantity about ourselves on facebook that can be used for surveillance purposes.And we are doing it voluntarily!
I say, before you talk about big brother as being our government,start questioning your own role in using spy gear and other digital meansof collecting and providing information to whoever wants the goods on youor others.
