The array of Chinese furniture
The Chinese furniture is becoming popular today. The materials, color, way of construction, its features, textures have made them popular world wide. They basically belong to two different categories such as Ming furniture, and hall furniture, where a hall itself might belong one of a number of categories.
Hall furniture
In China hall is basically referred to as tang or chamber. However tang served as the room in which to receive guests. The names varied from country to country. The furniture kept here were highly expensive and stylish. This furniture is referred to as hall furniture.
Ming furniture
Ming Dynasty furniture is usually simple, if somewhat rustic, in design, projecting an image of sturdiness combined with simple elegance.
