Opposites do attract
My wife insisted that we find taupo accommodation when we were traveling around the North Island last month. She’s not one for traveling around in our motor home, like me, and her idea of camping would be camping on the floor of the Hilton. I think it’s really funny how opposite we are, but I guess as the saying goes, opposites do attract. I convinced her once to go on a weekend trip in our motor home, but after having no hot water, a kink in her back, and no way to get a coffee every morning, she said that she would never be doing that again. We’ve come to a mutual agreement that when we travel together now we only stay at high-end places and that I would plan a boy’s trip each year, so that I can still enjoy my style of accommodation.
